The kitchen is wonderful place for a child to create holiday gifts. A youngster can count, measure, mix, taste and create all for the purpose of gift giving. Here is a recipe to share with all ages of cooks and appreciated by all ages of recipients.
Instant dry milk to make 8 quarts of milk (usually around 10 cups of dry milk depending on brand)
16 ounce package of chocolate mix (Nestlé's Quick)
6 ounces of dry creamer (Coffee Mate)
1 cup of powdered sugar
Sift and mix all ingredients together. Add 1 cup hot water to ˝ cup of mixture to make hot chocolate. Store mix in tightly covered container or place ˝ cup mixture in plastic sandwich bags for individual servings.
