Easy Tasty Waffles
March, 2003 - Debi Dutton

Cooking is always a favorite for learning measurements. This recipe is easy, quick and delicious. Once you introduce a child to these tasty waffles, you may be surprised with a special breakfast home-made by the kids. Remind children to be careful with the hot waffle iron.

  • Plug in the waffle iron and mix the 4 ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk or egg beater until smooth.
  • Serve with butter, maple syrup, or a fruit topping. The waffles can be kept warm and crisp by placing directly on the oven rack of a 200 degree oven.

2 cups of Bisquick or similar baking mix
1 1/3 cup club soda
1 egg
2 tablespoons oil

  • Any extra waffles can be frozen and heated in the toaster.
