Monthly Date Planner
December, 2001 - Debi Dutton

A recent survey stated that 4 out of 5 people prefer receiving personal and homemade gifts to store bought items. Meaningful and special gifts do not translate into being expensive. This gift idea may be shared with children, grandparents, or anyone who appreciates time together with loved ones.

Select 12 activities, one for each month, that can be enjoyed together with the person or with a group.

Select activities that are free or within your budget as you will be the host for each monthly activity. These are ideas for a special child:

January

Super Bowl party

February

A night of bowling

March

A trip to a bookstore

April

A visit to the amusement Park

May

A picnic in a favorite park

June

A visit to the zoo

July

A July 4th fireworks and ice cream evening

August

Shopping for a new school outfit

September

Movie night for your birthday

October     Photo Day – Take a roll of film and develop
November  Full moon walk with hot cocoa afterwards
December  Car ride to view holiday lights

Write the activities on a sheet of paper listing each month’s get together. These can be listed on one sheet of paper or each month can be written on a decorated sheet.
